Spada Products

Spada offers two main categories of products:

Livestock feed personalised for every farm and even each production group.

We can meet the broad nutritional needs of farm animals, assessing the food resources present on the farm (fodder and farm concentrates), as well as the conditions and needs of the farm. This category also includes products that are sold with the open formula system, where customers ‘see’ the exact percentages in the composition of the feed they are purchasing, along with the related formula, production, and transport costs. The prices of reference are based on the weekly bulletin issued by the Granaria di Milan (commodities exchange).

nSolution Product Line

nSolution epitomises Spada’s vocation for supplements, which is why it ‘lives a life of its own’, underlining the fact that the specific nature of this category of livestock feed requires milligram precision.

nSolution products also include Erbai, three different mixtures of fodder that combine high digestibility and ruminant activity due to the fibre content.

General feed for specific categories of animals where no particular personalisation is required.

The formulation of the feed is normally adapted to the needs of animals of different ages such as calves, heifers, and cows. This category is completed with the production of feed for other farmed animals such as pigs, poultry, rabbits, and horses.

The feed is made using two separate but interacting production lines:

The primary line,

which assembles preparations ranging from 1.5 kilograms and up per head per day and represents the most ‘feed-related’ phase of production

The secondary line,

which is particularly important and involves the preparation of feed whose quantity per head per day ranges from 50 grams to 1.5 kilograms. It is here that New Wave Technology dictates the guidelines, specifying the mineral elements and their relative quantities for final assembly.

This line serves two purposes:
• to produce the mineral pre-mixes that enter the primary production line and make up the mineral-vitamin structure of the various feed products;
• to produce preparations for direct sale to livestock farms that produce their own feed, providing the micro/macromineral, vitamin, and metabolic components that they need.
